ReplyDeleteSInce no one has given the correct answer thus far I will oblige. That is the Pittsburgh Pirates logo from 1929-1930. Only...it's not the Pirates everyone is thinking of. It's the hockey team!!
ReplyDeleteThey were the Pirates before becoming the Penguins many, many, many years later. If I remember correctly, the very next season they moved the franchise to Philly and became the Quakers.
