would this be a Dripping?

A wee while ago, our young friend Drew offered up some free cards. Well if it's free, it's me and I weighed in, claiming the Barves.

Naturally I forgot about it, so when the package arrived, I didn't know what to expect.

I scanned it in two scans... but have no idea where the other one went. So I'll just go with it. You'll get the idea after seeing one scan anyways.

I done been Bipped. By Drew. So is this a Dripping?

No idea. But I do know some Braves fans that will be getting some cards soon.

Thanks Drew!!!!!

A Shipping Bipping...

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased a 1987/88 OPC Hockey NRMT set off of ebay for $20. (yeah, it's a long story, for another time...) It came from a seller in the U.S. who ran a brick and mortar shop. Part of the story is that he prided himself on proper packaging for shipping, and did not have kind words to say about how his competitors packaged items.

When it arrived in the mail, I opened the 400 ct box to discover that the seller had put additional cards in the box to protect the OPC set. On either end AND on the top and bottom to stop the cards from moving around inside.

Therein lies the Shipping Bipping.

We start off slow. Four 91/92 UD Ken Daneyko
Then he gets mean.... Nine 91/92 UD Chris Joseph...
And here is where it gets odd.... not one...
not two...
not even three...
but SEVENTEEN 91/92 UD Wayne Gretzky's.
This does not even consider the 14 cards of these three players that were RIPPED IN HALF to further stuff the box full.
I thought I was safe by ordering a complete set, and I still got Bipped.
And what does this say about Gretzky's career and our hobby in general when one of the most collected players in sports is used as packing material?

Cain and Able, Zeus and Hades, Charlie and Emilio...

Famous brothers. Best friends. Family. They do things for each other. Rely on each other. Support each other.
Ryan from Trader Cracks, who only lives about an hour and a half away from me, making him practically my next door neighbour, and by Canadian standards, brothers, volunteered to send me a few '09/10 UD Hockey cards I needed for my Series 1 set.
I should have felt my Spidey senses tingling.... but we're brothers!
always nice to be able to fill in an empty slot or two....
Odd... Jaha is one of Ryan's favourite players. When I came across an autographed version of this card awhile ago, I sent it off to him. Brothers do that type of thing.
oh no.
Et tu, brute?
The ice dagger plunges deep into my back. Never saw it coming. Down goes Frasier! Down Goes Frasier!
But it wasn't enough. Oh no. While I'm down... the coup de grace....
my eyes! MY EYES!!!
Ryan and his family are currently Bipping Mickey Mouse in his own house, but when he gets back.... he might want to ignore the flaming paper bag on the porch....

Outgoing mail...

by my count, 11 packages went out yesterday, with another 3 going out on monday. Included in this is someone in the continental 48 getting Bipped.
You've been warned.
