with your Peyton Mannings and your Tony Romos and your Black Eyed Peas half time shows. Well, for the second straight year, the Grey Cup has had a better half time show than the Super Bowl.
111 million people watched the 2010 Super Bowl. 11 thousand people watched the Grey Cup. But they missed a helluva halftime show.
We may do things smaller and simpler, but they still rock, even at 70+ years old....
oh, I kinda have to apologize for the 'Pepsi Max Dancers' that appear at around the 6:25 mark.... youhave to remember that the city of Edmonton doesn't have that many good looking women.... kinda like why Green Bay doesn't have cheerleaders. That, and it's -30 out.

I don't live in Dallas, but I work in Dallas. From a local perspective, I'll say this about the Super Bowl. The weather sucked and people can complain all day about how it was handled by the local municipalities. The truth is, we don't deal with that type of weather very often and NEVER do a good job of handling it. That said, the way the NFL, and make no mistake, it was the NFL's fault, but the way they handled all the other issues such as the bad seats was horrendous. Those 400 fans who didn't get seats they paid for should get a great lawyer and sue the NFL for all they can get. People around here were wondering why they didn't see Jerry Jones being interviewed after the game or the next day. We all know Jerry is an attention whore, but guess what? He isn't stupid and the issues at the stadium were the NFL's fault and he wasn't about to stand up there and take the blame for the problems. He also wasn't going to blame the NFL because he wants another Super Bowl someday.
BA-Zing. And wow BTO is still alive???!!!??? Who knew. Go Roughriders!!
The Grey Cup should have a classic Canadian act do the halftime show every year. The ones I can think of (besides BTO) off the top of my head are Rush, Triumph, Neil Young, and April Wine. I'm sure there are others who would also be good.
My son's peewee church league basketball team has a better halftime show than that crap they had on during the Super Bowl halftime.
Been a couple of years since I have enjoyed the half-time show at the Super Bowl. I would much have preferred a Guess Who reunion over the BEP!
Man - if I only knew ...
I effin' love BTO and they still crank it in minus 30 below !
I'm not into that football (hate NFL) but that was a sweet 1/2 time show.
I saw many great bands out of Canada - Rush, Triumph, April wine ... but never got to see these guys. Thanks for the clip !
