new left fielder

I would sign this guy to play left field for the Braves just to watch him in the batters box... he can't be worse than Garret Anderson, and would be far more entertaining...

What was the deal with the Anderson signing, anyway? I liked him with the Angels, but he's obviously not an everyday player anymore, and that was apparent a couple of years ago.

Anderson signing in a nutshell:

1) Our outfield was (still is) pathetic and they needed a bat

2) Bravos refused to spend real money on someone who could actually produce, i.e. Adam Dunn

3) The natives were restless after an offseason full of near misses and catastrophes

4) Griffey came to the Braves looking for a deal

4a) Little did we know he was looking for a deal with the MARINERS

5) Griff spurns Braves, fan base loses they minds

6) Wren quickly snaps up the last remaining name outfielder with a pulse to appease the fans.

It's pretty obvious at this point that we are playing for 2010 so no big deal. Get Hanson & Medlen some PT, get Schafer the time he needed in AAA, Get another year under Heyward and freeman's belts and trade off a Vazquez or Kawakami or Gonzalez or KJ or (oh please oh please) Francoeur and replenish the farm.

I'm declaring shenanigans on that video clip, something about it just doesn't look right. I think it's been doctored.

Can he hit higher than .240? Can he be on my fantasy team?
